Choosing your data plan
A fixed-data plan gives you a total allowance for the selected validity period, not a fresh allowance each day. Match both the data amount and validity to your trip; using up the allowance is different from reaching the expiry date.
If you prefer an unlimited plan, check its daily high-speed allowance, reduced speed after that allowance, validity and hotspot terms. Unlimited does not mean unlimited high-speed data.
A 500MB starter can suit light arrival needs such as messages and directions. It is a small allowance, not a good fit for video, automatic backups or hotspot use.

Data use from the airport to your destination
Airport maps, ride-hailing, messaging and translation are usually moderate. Video, automatic media backup and hotspot use are much heavier. Save hotel details and the first route offline so that essential information remains available while the phone registers on arrival.
Bangkok, islands and less-populated areas
Network conditions vary between dense cities, islands, ferries and rural areas. Weather, terrain and indoor locations can also affect service. An eSIM cannot guarantee identical speed everywhere, so download critical tickets and maps over Wi-Fi.
When should you install it?
Install before departure on stable Wi-Fi and keep the travel line off until it is needed. The current Thailand choices begin validity on first connection to a supported network. Read the selected plan details supplied with the order before scanning.
Thailand only or Southeast Asia?
Choose a Thailand-only comparison for a single-country trip. Arrival connection steps
- Enable the travel eSIM line.
- Select it for mobile data.
- Turn on data roaming for that line.
- Keep automatic network selection enabled.
- Wait a few minutes before starting troubleshooting.
If service does not appear, follow the no-service checklist. Do not delete the eSIM profile while troubleshooting.
