Choosing your data plan

France and Italy with one eSIM
Europe 33 includes both France and Italy, making it the verified single-plan candidate for that route. Europe 35 does not include France, so the larger number in its title does not make it a better match. The smallest plan that covers every actual stop is usually the clearest choice.
How much data for several countries?
Changing countries does not itself consume extra data, but multi-stop trips tend to use navigation, rail apps, translation and accommodation messaging more often. Video, cloud backup and hotspot use remain the largest drivers. Download tickets, offline maps and media before long transfer days.
Crossing borders
Keep the regional eSIM selected for mobile data and data roaming enabled on that travel line. The phone may take a few minutes to register after a border crossing or flight. Automatic network selection is normally the best starting point; do not delete the installed profile when service is temporarily unavailable.
Install and device checks
